Rotary airlock valves are also called rotary feeders, rotary valves, or just rotary airlocks. Used in both pressure style and vacuum style pneumatic conveying systems, these valves serve as a “lock” to prevent air loss while simultaneously performing vital material handling functions. Offset rotary valve is also known as side entry valve is designed to reduce breakage, crack age and shearing while handling the bulk of delicate materials like peanuts, coke, seeds etc. It consists of rotors, blades, offset inlet and flanges end connections. Rotors are available in several options such as adjustable blades, Teflon coated, scalloped pocket, edges etc.
